ABOUT MOONSPLASH

Established in 1991 by reggae icon Bankie Banx and his associate Sheriff Bob Saidenberg, Moonsplash stands as the Caribbean's enduring beacon of independent musical celebration. Boasting a remarkable 34-year legacy, this festival has etched its name in the sands of Anguilla as the region's premier music extravaganza.

Recognized for its diverse lineup and intimate ambiance, Moonsplash has graciously hosted global luminaries such as Jimmy Buffett, Toots & The Maytals, Third World, Buju Banton, Tarrus Riley, Gregory Isaacs, Chronixx, Romain Virgo, and Omari Banks. Beyond its star-studded roster, Moonsplash prides itself on nurturing local talent, weaving a vibrant tapestry of music, culture, and community resonating with the spirit of Anguilla.

As the festival returns for its latest installment, the anticipation is palpable for what promises to be an unforgettable experience. Now in its 34th year, Moonsplash continues to bring reggae's biggest acts to the shores of Anguilla, transforming its beaches into the setting for one of the world's greatest beach parties.

More than a mere concert, Moonsplash immerses attendees in a sensory journey, where sun-kissed days seamlessly transition into moonlit nights filled with the pulsating energy of reggae and the infectious groove of island beats. The performances of international stars add an electrifying dimension to this immersive experience, making each year's lineup a genre-bending spectacle.

Beyond the music, Moonsplash actively contributes to local arts, boat racing, and educational initiatives. Serving as a launchpad for aspiring artists and creatives on the island, the festival provides valuable opportunities to connect with industry professionals. The economic impact of Moonsplash extends far beyond the festival grounds, benefiting vendors across various businesses in Anguilla.

According to long-time emcee Oluwakemi Linda Banks, "Moonsplash is about so much more than just music. It's about connecting with people, soaking up the beauty of Anguilla, and letting the rhythms of the island wash over you." Join us for an unforgettable three-day extravaganza on the beach as Moonsplash Reggae Festival marks another chapter in its enduring legacy.

The Venue

THE DUNE PRESERVE - Rendezvous bay, anguilla bwi - 2640 - Anguilla

The Dune Preserve is all about turning lemons into lemonade.  When you're up close you can see that see the shipwrecked boats, the driftwood, the battered coconut trees and other discarded materials come together to create this ultra-cool chill spot.

This is also the place where in 1994 Bankie put the pieces of his life back together his career in music was almost stolen.  This is the story of "Stuck In Paradise."
